Diane tells us about rail cards in the UK

Hello Everyone ! It’s Diane here; International Office Ambassador for Korea. Find out more about here on my profile

Grey sky is over and spring is here. I know everyone craves to travel especially when the weather gets warmer. So What I’m going to share with you all in this blog is … about RAIL CARD. Well, probably some countries already have this service but not in South Korea.
So I need to tell how essential this card is!

Railcards offer value for your money when you take trains in the UK. There are various options for ages, family or disabled people. I am going to touch on 16-25 cards.

16-25 cards are available for anyone who aged from 16 to 25, or over 25 and in the full-time study. If you buy this which costs £30 for a year, you can get ⅓ off train fares across the UK. If you are going to stay in the UK for more than 3 years, you can buy a 3-year one instead! This one is a lot cheaper (saving you around £20 on the price of three 1-year at the moment) and you can’t be bothered to make it every year.

HOW TO BUY : Go to the train station or Buy ONLINE in a few simple steps.

Rail cards give discounts on transport in London as well as train fares. Rail card holders can have travel cards which are allowing unlimited travel on London's public transport at a discount price.

Plus, This gives really good deals but discount on travels. You can save money on dining out, theatre and sightseeing tour. National rail has partnership to offer a wide range of discount to the holders and it updates its partnership in a regularly basis.

Sometimes, special deals are available for you. In spring time, you probably can get a rail card with cheaper price like this !! So you’d better to keep eye on the webpage if you want cheaper price :)

( This is  what currently going on )

And this is my rail card.

I hope you find this blog useful and you can make wonderful memories with it !!
